United States Department of Defense recognizes the existence of the Internet incident at the Pentagon in April 2010. The incident involving the Chinese.
It was raised by Colonel David Lapan, a spokesman for the Pentagon, Sunday (21/11/2010). "We already know, on April 8, 2010, there is the internet traffic (we) are in-reroute through China," he said.
But the thing that remains unclear is whether the incident coupled with malicious intent or not. In fact, he asserts not seen bad things in the incident.
Currently, the incident beam so the US-China commission on his U.S. House of Representatives. It said that the incident had affected the government and U.S. military sites, up to an internet connection in the office of Defense Secretary Robert Gates.
On the other hand, Beijing expressed displeasure at what the commission. A spokesman for Chinese Foreign Ministry said the commission thought patterns are like the era of 'Cold War'.
While China Telecom is also making a separate statement that says that the incident was not a deliberate action. They reject being called there 'hijacking' Internet traffic, as mentioned by the commission earlier.
